Job summary

Mann-Northway Auto Source in Prince Albert, SK, is hiring a full-time Parts Advisor to support technicians and customers with parts requests and service orders. You will research parts, manage inventory, restock shelves, and communicate status from order to delivery while upholding safety and efficiency standards.

The ideal candidate has dealership parts experience, familiarity with CDK, strong Excel skills, and a professional, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Some familiarity and/or experience with working in an automotive dealership and/or Parts Department.
• Completion of a related post-secondary program and/or training courses is considered an asset.
• Experience with CDK is considered an asset.
• A general understanding of Parts & Service operations and inventory management.
• A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• A person of professionalism and high integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honors their commitments.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated and resourceful.
• High-level skills in Word, Excel and MS Office etc.
• Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time.
• Must possess a valid Ontario driver's license and have a safe driving history.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Microsoft EXCEL knowledge is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Research and source parts for technicians/internals
• Sell parts to customer or service work orders
• Complete special-order parts requests that need to be ordered by the customer
• Communicate with the customer on the status of any parts ordered and notify them upon delivery to the dealership
• Pick-up parts for customers or technicians as required
• Restock shelves and put warranty parts into appropriate bins
• Keep work area and displays clean
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as required
