Job summary

ECCO Supply is seeking a Part Time Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role supports material warehousing, including picking orders, shipping and receiving, with up to 20 hours per week.

You will maintain the warehouse, handle loading/unloading, and ensure proper documentation for shipments in a fast-paced environment. The position emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience is an asset.
• Post-secondary education is an asset.
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience are assets.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lb.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time-organization and urgency.

Responsibilities

• Receive all manufacturing and resale products accurately and timely.
• Maintain the warehouse, receiving areas, and yard; fill pick bins as directed.
• Load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or with equipment.
• Pick/ship goods to customers efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure documentation with each shipment (packing, sealing, labeling).
• Fill out/prepare picking tickets.
• Assist with loading trailers and shipping LTL orders.
• Ensure warehouse is stocked at all times.
• Report maintenance, accidents, incidents, and near-misses to supervisor.
• Participate in yearly inventory count.
• Other duties as deemed by Management.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Part Time Warehouse Associate will be responsible for all functions associated with material warehousing including picking orders, shipping and receiving. The Warehouse Associate will perform all duties in a timely and orderly fashion to the best of their abilities and with the utmost due care, integrity and professionalism.

** This is a part-time Warehouse Associate position with scheduled hours of up to 20 hours per week. Candidate much be available to commit to this schedule **

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive all manufacturing and resale products accurately in a timely fashion and in compliance with ECCO’s receiving procedures
• Maintain the warehouse, receiving areas, and yard in a clean and organized manner; fill pick bins as necessary and as directed
• Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment
• Pick/ship goods to customers in a efficiently and accurately manner
• Ensure proper documentation is supplied with each shipment; this includes packing, sealing, and labeling materials to prepare for shipping
• Fill out/prepare picking tickets
• Assist with loading trailers, preparing and shipping LTL orders as necessary
• Ensure warehouse is appropriately stocked at all times
• Report any maintenance requirements, accidents, incidents, and near-misses immediately to your supervisor
• Participate in yearly inventory count
• Other duties as deemed necessary by Management

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous warehouse experience an asset
• Previous forklift experience an asset
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50lb
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a busy environment; as well as ability to work within a team
• Strong sense of time organization and urgency
• Good written and verbal communication skills
