Job summary

ECCO Supply in Canada is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform picking, shipping and receiving, and maintain orderly, safe warehousing operations. The role serves as a gateway to future career growth, requiring reliability, initiative and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Pickup, pack, and ship orders accurately.
  • Receive and verify incoming goods against purchase documents.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse; stock and fill pick bins as needed.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with loading trailers and preparing LTL shipments.
  • Participate in annual inventory count and ensure proper documentation.

Job description

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for all functions associated with material warehousing including picking orders, shipping and receiving. The Warehouse Associate will perform all duties in a timely and orderly fashion to the best of their abilities and with the utmost due care, integrity and professionalism. This role is the gateway to a future career for an individual with the right motivation, drive and initiative.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
General Duties:
  • Make a personal commitment to consistently provide superior customer service to ECCO’scustomers so they will want to do repeat business with ECCO Supply
  • Maintain good working relationship with all co-workers and ECCO employees
  • Read and comply with ECCO’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Read and comply with ECCO’s Human Resources Policies and Procedures
  • Assist in the success of ECCO’s Safety Program with suggestions and by setting a good example, also by ensuring that safety is at the forefront of your actions while at work
  • Adhere to shipping and receiving policies, procedures and regulatory compliance procedures
  • Receive all manufacturing and resale products accurately in a timely fashion and in compliance with ECCO’s receiving procedures
  • Maintain the warehouse, receiving areas, and yard in a clean and organized manner; fill pick bins as necessary and as directed
  • Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment
  • Pick/ship goods to customers in an efficient and accurate manner
  • Ensure proper documentation is supplied with each shipment; this includes packing, sealing, and labeling materials to prepare for shipping
  • Fill out/prepare picking tickets
  • Assist with loading trailers, preparing and shipping LTL orders as necessary
  • Ensure warehouse is appropriately stocked at all times
  • Report any maintenance requirements, accidents, incidents, and near‑misses immediately to your supervisor
  • Participate in yearly inventory count
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by Management
