Browns Shoes Inc. in Montreal is seeking a part-time Visual Merchandiser to join our Canadian fashion team. You will create compelling displays, verify grid layouts, replenish stock, and maintain polished, brand-aligned presentations across stores.

The role requires attention to detail, creativity, organization, and strong communication with store teams. The position involves light lifting and standing for long periods, with responsibilities that include opening display setups and lifting

Qualifications

• Experience in visual merchandising and retail display is preferred.
• Ability to follow brand guidelines and seasonal directives.
• Capability to lift and move stock regularly.
• Excellent communication with store teams and visual staff.
• Availability for the specified shifts.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising products in alignment with brand visual guidelines and seasonal directives.
• Conducting grid verifications to ensure floor fixtures and layouts adhere to visual standards.
• Replenishing displays to maintain full, appealing presentations that drive product engagement.
• Organizing and re-boxing outdated stock to maintain a streamlined and efficient inventory.
• Maintaining a clean, polished, and inviting store environment through regular display upkeep and window maintenance.
• Overseeing the condition and organization of visual supplies and signage.
• Strategically featuring bestsellers on sale racks to maximize visibility and boost sales.
• Assist store openings setups by preparing visual elements for an impactful and brand-aligned launches.
• Use a personal smartphone to access work-related applications, communication tools, and other digital resources required to perform your daily responsibilities.

We are looking for a part-time Visual Merchandiser to join our Visual Team!

• Travel expenses (mileage or public transit) are reimbursed when applicable.
• Phone compensation ($2.50 per day worked under Visual)

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail, ensuring consistency with visual standard across all departments
• Creative at creating eye-catching displays that reflect the brand and regularly introduce new ideas.
• Organized and efficient in managing multiple tasks
• Strong communicator to ensure strong relationships with the visual team and store teams
• Comfortable in performing physical tasks such as lifting, reboxing shoes, adjusting visual displays, and working on their feet throughout the day
• Availability to work Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
