Rogers Sports & Media is seeking a Part-Time Video Operator to support fast-paced live control room shows in Toronto. You will chart and color-correct video, patch cameras, and operate CCU/RCP/MSU panels while maintaining the On Air look and reliability.

The role requires knowledge of video theory, camera operation, and in-house workflows. Work is onsite at Mount Pleasant (083), Toronto, ON, with pre-employment checks and a collaborative team environment.

Part-Time Video Operator

Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for a Part Time Video Operator to help us grow the Rogers Sports & Media brand and connect with our Sportsnet audience. We are looking for a Video Operator who has experience working on fast paced and fluid live control room shows.

What You'll Do

• Chart, color correct, and monitor video levels on studio cameras, video monitors, remote cameras and elements in SDR and HDR colour spaces
• Work closely with TD, Lighting, Camera Operators and Production on daily show requirements and pre-show fax
• Patch cameras to different in-house areas; build, change, and update scene files
• Operate CCU’s, RCP’s and MSU panels in an IP environment
• Troubleshoot issues and act quickly to correct
• Maintain the On Air look in accordance with RSM standards
• Continuously examine performance of internal network systems and processes; identify and act immediately upon inconsistencies to provide solutions
• Maximize utilization of available resources for the ever-growing requirements of Rogers Sports and Media’s market leading content offerings, and liaise with management and engineering on all technical maintenance and repair related issues
