Rogers Sports & Media in Toronto is seeking two Part-time Video Editor II to support the Creative Team in producing high-quality content for Sportsnet properties. You will work with directors, producers, and editors to craft engaging promotional material.

The role requires strong editing skills, knowledge of NLE software, and a passion for sports broadcasting. It offers part-time hours with on-site work at 1 Mount Pleasant in Toronto.

Responsibilities

• Edit and create world-class promotional content for all Sportsnet Properties.

• Adopt new editing technologies and industry best practices to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with management and engineering on technical maintenance and repair issues.

VTR Editor II

Who we're looking for:

We’re looking for two Part-time Video Editor II to support our world-class Creative Team to help us grow the Rogers Sports & Media brand and connect with our Sportsnet audience through creativity and passion to create high quality content.

What you'll do:

• Edit and create world-class promotional content for all Sportsnet Properties.
• Collaborate with Creative Directors, Producers, and team of Editors to create content that is both innovative and inspires.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Maximize utilization of available resources for the ever-growing requirements of Rogers Sports and Media’s market leading content offerings; liaise with management and engineering on all technical maintenance and repair related issues.

What you'll bring:

• Demonstrated expertise with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, and various other edit design tools.
• A deep passion for Sports broadcasting, content, social media, and telling stories that resonate with our fans.
• Proven proficiency with NLE software: Adobe Premiere, Avid, After Effects, And Photoshop (Grass Valley experience a plus).
• Strong understanding of Content Creation, Video formats, Codecs and File types.
• Ability to mix Stereo audio and understand 5.1 audio flow.
• Ability to color correct and grade video.
• An aptitude for working with others and thinking of the team first.
• Strong analytical and technical skills/knowledge of various broadcast control systems and peripherals.
• A multi-tasker who works in a fast paced, results, and deadline driven environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and find creative solutions when technical issues arise.
