Job summary

Rogers Sports & Media is seeking a Part-Time Video Operator to support fast-paced live control room shows in Toronto. You will chart and color-correct video, patch cameras, and operate CCU/RCP/MSU panels while maintaining the On Air look and reliability.

The role requires knowledge of video theory, camera operation, and in-house workflows. Work is onsite at Mount Pleasant (083), Toronto, ON, with pre-employment checks and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Specialized knowledge of video theory, camera operation, waveform/vectorscope alignment.
• Familiarity with broadcast video signal and lighting practices.
• Ability to work quickly in a team under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Chart, color correct, and monitor video levels on studio and remote cameras.
• Patch cameras to in-house areas and update scene files.
• Operate CCU, RCP and MSU panels in an IP environment.
• Troubleshoot issues and maintain on-air look per standards.
• Identify and fix inconsistencies in networks and processes.
