Job summary

Oxford Learning Cambridge Hespeler is seeking a part-time Tutor for Elementary to Middle School to deliver English, French and Math support after school and evenings. You will work with up to three students in-person, following our pre-planned lessons and proprietary teaching philosophies.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and teaching credentials are an asset. The role requires reliable attendance, ability to commute to Cambridge, and a school-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field.
• Third-year university students will be considered.
• Teaching certification or currently pursuing your teaching credential is an asset.
• Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 9 curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teaching personalized programs to up to 3 students at a time.
• Teaching in-person.
• Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Filling in post-lesson notes.
• Completing progress reports.
• Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times.
