Job summary

Lift Community Services is seeking a Community Mental Health Worker for the qathet region in Powell River, BC. This temporary part-time role supports the Complex Care Housing program, assisting with daily living, promoting life skills, and providing emotional and practical support in line with care plans.

The position is 3 days a week (22.5 hrs), with the hourly wage of CA$33.49–CA$35.31. Reports to the Community Health Services Manager and requires a valid BC driver’s license, clear background

Qualifications

• Grade 12 plus one year of recent experience in harm reduction.
• Experience with trauma-informed care and harm reduction practices.
• Experience in community healthcare settings.
• Valid BC driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check clearance.
• Knowledge of harm reduction and trauma-informed practice.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
