Job summary

Lift Community Services is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Complex Care Housing program in Powell River, BC. The role offers full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with rotating days from 9am–5pm, in a community-based, trauma-informed environment.

The RN/RPN will provide direct nursing care, assess health needs, support recovery, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve housing and health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Minimum two (2) years of recent experience providing treatment to individuals with mental health and/or substance use concerns.
• Experience with trauma-informed and harm reduction practices.
• Valid BC Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle.
• Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and professional support to participants in the qathet Complex Care Housing program.
• Assess health needs, deliver trauma-informed interventions, and support harm reduction and relapse prevention.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and community partners to improve housing and health outcomes.
