Job summary

Lift Community Services is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Complex Care Housing program in Powell River, BC. The role focuses on direct nursing care, trauma-informed interventions, and collaboration with teams to stabilize participants in housing settings.

Qualifications

• Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Minimum two years of recent experience with mental health and/or substance use, trauma-informed care and harm reduction experience.
• Valid BC Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle; Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check clearance.

The Position

The RN/RPN provides direct nursing care and professional support to participants in the qathet Complex Care Housing program. The role contributes to participant stability and recovery by assessing health needs, delivering trauma-informed interventions, supporting harm reduction and relapse prevention, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, families, and community partners to improve housing and health outcomes.

Qualifications
