Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Kitchener, ON is seeking a part-time associate to assist in daily retail operations, greet customers, process transactions, sort donations, stock shelves and maintain store appearance.

You will handle cash and debit with accuracy, follow safety policies, and contribute to meeting sales targets while providing friendly service. The role requires lifting up to 29 lbs and weekend availability. On site at 563 Highland Rd W, with accommodations available as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors in a positive, courteous manner.
• Assist with daily store operations and merchandising.

• Assist with opening/closing procedures and safety compliance.
• Support health and safety practices and housekeeping.
• Lift and move up to 29 lbs as required.
• Provide assistance to donors and customers as needed.
