Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store is seeking a dedicated part-time team member to support daily retail operations. You will greet customers, process donations, handle cash and debit transactions, and help maintain appealing displays and accurate pricing.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers/donors in a positive, friendly manner.
• Contribute to meeting store sales targets with efficient customer service.
• Be knowledgeable about product pricing and donated items; protect item integrity.
• Maintain store opening/closing procedures and accurate cash/debit transactions.
• Process donations: sorting, pricing, stocking, and turnover of merchandise.
• Assist with store layout, displays, and merchandising to attract customers.
• Ensure store safety and security; follow OH&S policies.
• Support inventory control and general duties as assigned.
