Job summary

British Swim School of Toronto West Etobicoke - Canada is hiring a part-time Swim Instructor to join our team in Mississauga/Etobicoke/Toronto West area. You’ll teach children and adults the British Swim School curriculum in a fun, safe setting with a flexible schedule.

No certification? We train you as paid learning. We offer uniforms, growth opportunities, performance bonuses, and paid training with first aid as needed, helping you develop skills while making a real difference in lives.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic personality is desired for engaging with children and parents.
• Strong communication skills are essential for clear instruction and safety.
• Experience working with children is preferred; training will be provided.
• Swimming experience or comfort in water is beneficial; 1–2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classes in a fun, gentle environment following the curriculum and safety procedures.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends as required by business needs.
• Report to and communicate with the Aquatics Manager.
• Be in uniform and poolside 15 minutes before first lesson.
• Attend staff meetings and ongoing training/coaching.
