Job summary

Making Waves Swim School in Mississauga is seeking energetic swimming instructors to join our team. You will teach using our Small Steps approach, build water confidence, and lead safe, high-energy lessons for young swimmers.

We value positive, reliable communicators who enjoy working with children and families. Flexible scheduling includes daytime, evenings, and weekends, with shifts of at least two per week, and opportunities to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• First aid and CPR-C certification required.
• National Lifeguard or Bronze Cross certification preferred.
• Completion of Making Waves Coach Course provided training.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimmers using Small Steps approach.
• Build water confidence and skills.
• Lead safe, structured high-energy lessons.
• Encourage swimmers and celebrate progress.
• Communicate with families professionally.
• Create a fun, positive learning environment.
