Job summary

Designer Brands Canada is seeking a part-time Supervisor for our Shoe Co. banner to lead store operations, coach team members, and ensure outstanding customer experiences. You will report to the Store Manager and support in achieving store objectives, including in-store sales and web orders.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates inclusivity, open communication, and flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.

• Assumes a leadership role with responsibility for maximizing store business results by consistently creating exceptional Customer experiences.
• Maintains exceptional product knowledge and industry trend knowledge.
• Facilitates achievement of business results by role modelling a shopping experience that encourages uniquely responsive Customer service, compelling merchandise presentation and operational integrity that will encourage positive customer connections and loyalty.
• Coaches and provides feedback as directed by Store Management to achieve segment success.
• Fosters teamwork, collaboration and change advocacy within the store and district.
• Maintain effective, open lines of communication with the Store Manager.
• Open & closes the store proficiently
