Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a friendly Concierge Security Guard in Toronto to provide excellent customer service while keeping the premises secure. You will welcome visitors, verify IDs, manage access control, and conduct patrols to identify risks.

This part-time weekend role offers a wage of $19.05/hour, uniform provided, and GardaWorld Academy training. The position requires an Ontario security license, weekend availability, and strong communication skills to assist staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid Ontario security license.
• WSIB approved First aid certification.
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.
• Previous security experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, check identification, and guide visitors.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct foot patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Perform computer tasks.
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
