Job summary

Urban Barn Windsor in Ontario is seeking a Part-time Sales Associate to help customers create homes they love. You will guide shoppers to find inspiring furniture and décor, and share product knowledge to ensure a welcoming shopping experience.

Open 7 days a week, the role requires a flexible schedule across weekdays, weeknights and weekends, with at least 3 days (12-20 hours) per week. You will provide friendly service, process transactions, and keep the store looking its best.

Qualifications

• Two years of Retail Sales experience.
• Comfort with using technology such as a Point-of-Sale system and iPad.

Responsibilities

Accompany and guide customers to find inspiring furniture and home décor during their visit to our store. As a Sales Associate, you will represent Urban Barn by offering friendly service and product knowledge to help our customers create a space they love to call home. In collaborating with the store team and managers, you will provide our customers with the best shopping experience possible.

Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we’re looking for candidates who can work a variety of shifts (i.e. weekdays, weeknights and weekends).

What You Will Do:

• Guide customers in their décor choices, suggesting the best products for their needs

What you Bring:

• At least 2 years of Retail Sales experience
• Ease of using technology such as a Point-of-Sale system and iPad
• Flexible schedule to work a minimum of 3 days (12-20 hours) per week - including at least 1 weekend and 1 weekday daytime shift
• The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg
