Job summary

Urban Barn Ltd. in Victoria, BC is looking for a part-time Sales Associate at our Uptown store. You will assist customers with furniture and home décor, deliver friendly service, and use product knowledge to help customers create spaces they love.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of retail sales experience.
• Ease of using technology such as a Point-of-Sale system and an iPad.
• Flexible schedule to work a minimum of 3 days (12-20 hours) per week, including at least 1 weekend and 1 weekday daytime shift.
• Ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg.

Responsibilities

Accompany and guide customers to find inspiring furniture and home décor during their visit to our store. As a Sales Associate, you will represent Urban Barn by offering friendly service and product knowledge to help our customers create a space they love to call home. In collaborating with the store team and managers, you will provide our customers with the best shopping experience possible.

Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we're looking for candidates who can work a variety of shifts (i.e. weekdays, weeknights and weekends).

What You Will Do:
