Job summary

Urban Barn in Saskatoon, SK is seeking a Part-time Sales Associate to join our team. You will help customers find inspiring furniture and home décor, provide friendly service and product knowledge, and help create spaces customers love.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of Retail Sales experience, is comfortable using a POS system and iPad, and can work a flexible schedule including weekends and weekday day shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience.
• Experience using a POS system and iPad.
• Flexible schedule to work a minimum of 3 days (20-30 hours) per week – including at least 1 weekend and 1 weekday daytime shift.
• Ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers in their décor choices, suggesting the best products for their needs.
• Provide a warm greeting to every customer.

Accompany and guide customers to find inspiring furniture and home décor during their visit to our store. As a Sales Associate, you will represent Urban Barn by offering friendly service and product knowledge to help our customers create a space they love to call home. In collaborating with the store team and managers, you will provide our customers with the best shopping experience possible.

Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we’re looking for candidates who can work a variety of shifts (i.e. weekdays, weeknights and weekends).

What You Will Do:
