Job summary

Urban Barn Ltd. is hiring a Part-time Sales Associate for the Emerald Hills store in Sherwood Park, AB. You will help customers find furniture and décor, provide product knowledge, and deliver a great shopping experience.

The role requires a friendly, service-minded approach, the ability to use a POS system and an iPad, and a flexible schedule including weekends. Expect a competitive wage with a discount and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Retail Sales experience.
• Ease of using technology such as a Point-of-Sale system and iPad.
• Flexible schedule to work a minimum of 3 days (12-20 hours) per week - including at least 1 weekend and 1 weekday daytime shift.
• The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg.

Accompany and guide customers to find inspiring furniture and home décor during their visit to our store. As a Sales Associate, you will represent Urban Barn by offering friendly service and product knowledge to help our customers create a space they love to call home. In collaborating with the store team and managers, you will provide our customers with the best shopping experience possible.

Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we’re looking for candidates who can work a variety of shifts (i.e. weekdays, weeknights and weekends).
