Job summary

Kindera Living in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse for a part-time days shift. The RPN will coordinate and oversee resident-focused care, administer medications, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to maintain high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario as Registered Practical Nurse.
• CPR certification an asset.
• Experience in long-term care is an asset.
• Ability to work with interdisciplinary team members.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Clear vulnerable sector screen and TB test within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify care plans based on residents’ health needs and status.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals, agencies, families, and team members.
• Monitor and supervise unit activities and delegate tasks to PSWs.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with policies.
• Document and maintain accurate nursing assessments and plans of care.
