Job description

We are seeking an experienced professional to facilitate an online course titled “Data Analytics for HR” within the Professional and Part-Time Learning (PPL) program. This part-time facilitator role involves creating an engaging online learning environment, utilizing educational technologies, developing curriculum, and collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

1. Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment accommodating diverse student backgrounds;
2. Engaging students using adult education principles;
3. Utilizing educational technologies for learning support and grade management;
4. Developing relevant and current course content and assessments;
5. Working independently with initiative;
6. Collaborating effectively with students, the program team, and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years of recent industry experience related to the course topic;
• Master’s degree (or higher) in Business, Education, or a related field; certifications such as Certified Human Resources Professional are assets;
• Experience in Data Analytics is an asset;
• Post-secondary teaching experience or relevant business experience with adult education principles;
• Strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent organizational and time management skills;
• Experience with educational technology and grade management;
• Self-motivated, independent, and team-oriented;
• Commitment to lifelong learning;
• Understanding of the Ontario community college system.

Required Experience: Relevant educational credentials and proven work or teaching experience are preferred.
