Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant at our Seton location in Calgary, AB. You will handle prescriptions, input patient data, and manage stock while ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.

You have completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years of dispensary experience, with strong communication and customer service skills. A positive, team-focused attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive written prescriptions and refill requests, input patient and prescription data into the computer.

We are hiring for a Pharmacy Assistant at our Seton location in Calgary, AB.

You will be responsible for:

• Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

You have:

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Kroll computer experience is an asset.
