Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Powell River, BC is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join their team. You'll be responsible for processing prescriptions, inputting data, managing stock, and ensuring customer service excellence.

Our ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and ideally Kroll experience. We offer competitive pay and a range of benefits, including educational reimbursement and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• A strong work ethic and let's get it done attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Kroll computer experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receiving written prescriptions and refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Performing tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and billing information to the pharmacist.

We are hiring for a Pharmacy Assistant at our location in Powell River, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

You have:

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.

Compensation Details:

$19.00 - $23.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
