Job summary

ParaMed Home Health Care in Fort Frances, Ontario, is seeking a Part-time Personal Support Worker (PSW) to assist patients with daily living activities in the home and community.

You will provide daily living support, meals, light housekeeping, and companionship, with compassionate care. A valid PSW certificate and driver’s license are required.

We offer training, benefits, mileage compensation, and a competitive hourly rate of CAD 21.52–24.29.

Qualifications

• Must have a Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate.
• Demonstrate compassion and care when interacting with patients.
• Reliable and flexible with scheduling.
• Passion for making a difference in your community.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle to travel to patients’ residences within a geographical area.
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including skin, hair, and oral care along with bathing, toileting, & peri-care.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, including special diets, as determined by the care plan.
• Provide basic housekeeping tasks and companionship to help your patients enjoy a better quality of life.
