Job summary

ParaMed Home Health Care is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our home and community care team. You will support patients with daily living activities in their homes and communities, promoting independence and comfort.

The role includes caregiving tasks, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship; requires a PSW certificate, a valid driver's license, reliability, and flexibility; bilingual English/French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have Valid PSW certificate.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and care for patients
• Valid driver license and access to a vehicle for travel to patient residences within geographic area

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (skin, hair, oral care, bathing, toileting, peri-care).
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks per care plan.
• Provide basic housekeeping and companionship to improve quality of life
