Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a Personal Support Worker to join our home care team, supporting patients in their homes and community settings with daily living activities. You will promote independence and well-being through compassionate, personalized care across geographic areas within Ontario.

The role offers comprehensive benefits, training opportunities, and a competitive per-visit compensation model. You will travel to patient residences using a company vehicle where required.

Qualifications

Valid Personal Support Worker certificate or equivalent.
Ability to demonstrate compassion and care when interacting with patients.
Reliability and flexibility to meet patient needs.
Passion for making a difference in your community.
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel to patient residences.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living, including skin, hair, oral care, bathing, toileting and peri-care.
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, including special diets per care plan.
Provide basic housekeeping and companionship to improve patients' quality of life.
