Job summary

Canterbury Coffee Corporation in Burnaby, BC, is hiring a Payroll Administrator on a permanent part-time basis. Work Monday–Wednesday, 9:00 AM–2:30 PM with a competitive hourly rate of $25–$35.

Join a team focused on accurate payroll processing and strong collaboration with Finance and People & Culture. Responsibilities include end-to-end payroll, GL postings, reconciliations, and reporting, with benefits such as 6% vacation pay, paid days, and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll administration experience.
• 2+ years independently managing payroll financial processes (GLI, journal entries, reconciliations).
• 1+ year of ADP Workforce Now experience.
• Experience with third-party or managed payroll providers.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll administration and financial accuracy.
• Review timecards, earnings, deductions, and adjustments; coordinate with ADP payroll specialist.
• Prepare payroll journal entries and post GL interfaces.
• Perform payroll reconciliations, accruals, and month-end/year-end activities.
• Maintain payroll reports, documentation, and compliance.
