Our client is a global corporation headquartered in Vancouver. This position provides an opportunity to be an integral part in the company's payroll function and support global teams.

About the Role

This role requires hands-on experience with high-volume payroll processing. This role reports directly to the Global Payroll Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly payrolls for a growing retail company throughout Canada, US and LATAM.
  • End-to-end payroll processing for 1000+ employees.
  • Must be comfortable overseeing hourly, salaried and unionized payroll cycle for the organization.
  • Year-end reconciliation and submission of source deductions, WSIB, EHT etc.
  • Ensure that all necessary government filings and remittances are made in a timely manner.
  • Report and reconciliation, post to GL and assist finance with payroll accounting.
Qualifications
  • Ideally 3-5 years of experience processing high-volume payroll.
  • PCP or PLP certification an asset.
  • Strong understanding of ADP WFN
  • Organized and possess a strong attention to detail.
  • Can work in a collaborative environment & independently.
  • Can work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills
  • Hands-on experience with high-volume payroll processing.
  • Strong understanding of payroll systems.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Very strong Excel skills
Preferred Skills
  • PCP or PLP certification.
  • Experience with ADP WFN
