Meadow Park Chatham, part of Jarlette Health Services, is seeking a Co-Culinary Manager to oversee daily Food Services operations on site at 110 Sandys Street, Chatham, ON. The role focuses on nutritious, resident-centered meals, staff leadership, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards.

The position is permanent part-time (14 hours per week), reporting to the Culinary Manager, with responsibilities across menu planning, staff training, and kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Membership in CSNM is required or preferred.
• Education in Nutrition, Dietetics and/or Food and Nutrition Management.
• Experience in long-term care dietary departments with quantity food production, food service operations, clinical nutrition, menu planning, ordering and staff supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily Food Services operations.
• Provide hands-on leadership for high-quality nutritional care and resident-centered meal service.
• Supervise dietary staff, including training, coaching and performance evaluation.
• Collaborate to develop/update dietary education materials and in-service programs.
• Conduct daily kitchen/serveries inspections and maintain safety and sanitation standards.
• Oversee meal preparation and delivery, inventory, and event catering support.
• Coordinate seasonal menu changes and daily menu adjustments.
