LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services is seeking a Part Time Lab Patient Technician in Ontario. The role involves greeting patients, performing phlebotomy, ECGs, and specimen preparation, with emphasis on accuracy and patient care.

The position requires good communication, privacy awareness, and flexible shifts including Saturdays. Join a supportive team providing comprehensive testing services and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with patients and staff.
• Strong typing and computer skills (min 40 wpm).
• Strong customer service and patient-focused approach.
• Empathy, adaptability to change, problem solving.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients, collect required information, and ensure protocol guidance.
• Perform phlebotomies, Holter monitor setup, and ECG tracings.
• Collect special tests (drug screens, paternity tests, clinical trials) and document results.
• Maintain client relationships, respond to inquiries, and follow up on requests.
• Enter patient demographics and requisition information accurately.
• Prepare specimens for transportation and testing.
