Job summary

A local education center in North Bay is seeking a part-time High School Math Teacher/Tutor. In this role, you will engage with students in Grades 9-12, teaching various math topics including algebra, calculus, and more. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and some teaching experience. Hours include evenings and some Saturdays. Ongoing training will be provided, and applicants must be available in-person and live within a short commute to North Bay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or similar relevant certification required.
• Good knowledge of Grades 9-12 math curriculum required.
• Some experience teaching or tutoring math at a Grade 9 to 12 level.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 3 students at a time at different levels.
• Follow the Oxford Learning methodologies.
• Complete daily student communication updates.
