Job summary

A Canadian education provider is seeking a part-time High School Math/Science Tutor in Richmond Hill. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, strong communication skills, and experience tutoring Grades 9-12 math and science. Must be available evenings and some Saturdays, with responsibilities including teaching multiple students and following specific educational methodologies. This in-person role offers opportunities for ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience.
• Good knowledge of Grades 9-12 math and science, including Advanced Functions, Calculus, and physics.
• Some experience teaching/tutoring math and science at Grade 9-12 level.

Responsibilities

• Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels.
• Following Oxford Learning methodologies.
• Filling in post-lesson notes and maintaining professional demeanor.
