Job summary

A leading educational provider in Bolton is seeking a part-time High School Math/Science Teacher/Tutor. The role involves teaching students in-person during evenings and some Saturdays, with no lesson planning required. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and some tutoring experience. This position offers a salary of $17 - $18 per hour, along with fun staff events and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Some experience teaching/tutoring math at a Grade 9‑12 (or equivalent) level.
• Good knowledge of the current Grades 9‑12 math and science curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels.
• Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.

Skills

Strong math skills

Strong English written and oral communication skills

Ability to multitask

Education

Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field
