Job summary

A leading education provider is seeking a part-time High School Math/Science Teacher/Tutor in Vancouver. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and strong knowledge of Grades 8-12 curriculum. Responsibilities include teaching three students at once, while fostering a positive learning environment. This role offers competitive hourly pay and valuable teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Grades 8-12 math and science curriculum.
• Experience teaching/tutoring at Grade 8 to 12 level.
• Ability to guide students’ understanding in math and science.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with students as an Interactive Coach.
• Teach up to 3 students at a time at different levels.
• Maintain a friendly and professional manner.

Skills

Strong English written and oral communication skills

Strong math/science knowledge

Ability to multitask

Education

Pursuing/finished Bachelor’s degree or similar certification
