Job summary

Wonderbrands is seeking a Production Operator for on-site work in Mississauga, ON. You will support the production line, pack and label finished goods, and help prepare shipments while adhering to PPE and safety protocols.

Candidates should be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lb, work in a team, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Prior manufacturing or food production experience is a plus but not mandatory. Shifts include nights, weekends, and possible overtime.

• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
• Team player with good communication.
• Capable of adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends and overtime if required.
• Basic reading comprehension of work instructions, labels and safety protocols.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and food safety regulations.

SHIFT: 12 hour Day or Night Shift

PAY RATE: $20.50/hr

Responsibilities

• Pack finished products into containers or boxes, label packages, and prepare them for shipping.
• Support the production process by operating or assisting with machinery and assembly lines.
• Inspect products for quality and report any defects or irregularities.
• Provide support to machine operators and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Keep the area clean and put away utensils in the proper location after use.
• Adhere to all Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures and have an understanding and respect for GMPs.

Experience

• Previous experience in manufacturing or food production is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50lb), and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify product defects and maintain quality standards.
• Willingness to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Capability to handle changing priorities and perform various tasks in a fast-paced environment.
