Wonderbrands in Mississauga is seeking an Operator to join our fast-paced food production team. You will ensure equipment runs smoothly, products meet quality and safety standards, and production goals are achieved.

The role features 12-hour shifts from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to work weekdays and weekends. Location is 2095 Meadowvale Blvd., Mississauga, ON, and the pay rate is $22 per hour. Benefits and career growth opportunities are offered by Wonderbrands.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dough mixing qualities.
• Basic troubleshooting skills to resolve common issues and perform machine adjustments.
• Attention to detail and good organization skills.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Able to push and pull weight up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain productivity in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HACCP and GMPs is an asset.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills preferred.
• Forklift certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all applicable legislative and Wonderbrands food safety and good manufacturing practices, health and safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Set and adjust controls of dividers per product specifications.
• Check and record information as per SOPs.
• Set up overhead proofer and reciprocating conveyor as per requirements and SOPs.
• Maintain flour dusters as required.
• Perform changeovers to maximize product efficiencies.
• Set and adjust controls for stampers, sheeters and molding boards as per specs.
• Assist R&D team with product trials.
• Assist mixers as required.
• Manage breaks for line crew.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for setting and adjusting controls of dividers in accordance with product specification
• Checks and records all necessary information as per standard operating procedures
• Responsible for the set-up of overhead proofer and reciprocating conveyor as per product requirements and standard operating procedures
• Maintains flour dusters as required
• Perform changeovers in a timely manner to maximize product efficiencies
• Responsible for the setting and adjusting controls for stampers, sheeters and molding boards, in accordance with product specifications
• Assist Research and Development team with product trials
• Assist Mixers as required
• Manage breaks for line crew
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required

• Basic computer and mathematical skills preferred
• Forklift certification is considered an asset
