Job summary

The Pumphouse Theatre in Calgary is seeking a Book Keeper / Finance Manager to lead financial accounting and HR-related functions within the management team. Reporting to the Executive Director and liaising with the Board, you will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting, banking and investments, policies and procedures, external audits, and payrolls.

Ideal candidates have a post-secondary degree in business or related field or accounting designation, plus at least 5

Qualifications

Post-secondary degree in business or related field (or equivalent).
Professional accounting designation (CMA, CGA or CA) or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years financial management experience, preferably in non-profits.
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Budgeting and forecasting (Operations and Capital).
Financial analysis and reporting.
Banking and investment management.
Financial policies/procedures and systems review.
External audit, corporate reporting relations (incl. government & donor reporting).
HR management functions & policy development (payroll, benefits administration & remittances).
