Job summary

Oak View Group (OVG) seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee ordering, receiving, distribution, inventory control, and staff supervision for event-driven operations at Spruce Meadows.

The role requires 2-3 years in warehouse operations, forklift certification, and strong communication with stakeholders. Part-time with a pay rate of $29.50 CAD per hour, offering pension matching and staging responsibilities for opening/closing shifts.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of warehouse/distribution experience.
• Forklift certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Ability to make sound business/operations decisions.
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, POS systems, and timekeeping systems.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Knowledge of sanitation, safety, and food service policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ordering, receiving, distribution, and tracking of venue products.
• Maintain accuracy of purchase orders, requisitions, and inventory records.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of warehouse/storage areas.
• Drive company vehicles for product pickup/delivery as needed.
• Supervise part-time staff and oversee event lay-ins, requisitions, post-event breakdowns, and returns.
• Inspect shipments for accuracy and quality and ensure proper labeling and storage.
• Maintain stock levels for each event and monitor rotation and product integrity.
• Document transfers between departments and complete related paperwork.
• Perform maintenance and cleaning of warehouse and equipment.
• Conduct end-of-day sanitation and readiness checks.
• Act as opening/closing manager on duty for warehouse operations.
• Support Premium Services and Concessions event operations as needed.
• Evaluate warehouse staff performance including reviews and disciplinary actions.
