Job summary

Oxford Learning Richmond Hill – Oak Ridges is hiring a Part-Time English Teacher to support students after school and on select evenings. The role involves small-group instruction at up to three students, with pay ranging from $18.50 to $20.00 per hour at the Richmond Hill location.

Location: 13025 Yonge St., Richmond Hill, ON; Schedule: 3:30 pm–8:00 pm weekdays and some Saturdays (10:30 am–2:00 pm). Applicants should be capable of commuting and be eligible for a vulnerable sector check.

Qualifications

• University students considered; teaching certification an asset.
• Good knowledge of current curriculum.
• Some experience teaching or tutoring is preferred.
• Strong English written and oral communication skills; ability to guide students' understanding.
• Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students simultaneously.
• Must be able to commute to the Richmond Hill location and be a resident within a short commute.
• Vulnerable sector screening mandatory.
