Sturgeon Public Schools is hiring an Educational Assistant 2 for a 0.5 FTE, part-time temporary assignment at Guthrie School on CFB Edmonton Garrison.

Under the direction of the classroom teacher, you will support students across grades, assist with academic and behavioural development, and provide small-group help.

Qualifications

• Educational Assistant or Early Childhood Diploma/Certificate is required.
• Experience supporting students with Autism or behavioural needs.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Training or experience in behaviour support, TCIS, developmental and emotional regulation strategies.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector check.
• Flexible, patient, and student-centred approach.
• Equivalencies combining education, knowledge, and experience may be considered.
