Job summary

Foothills School Division in Cayley, Alberta is hiring an Education Assistant to support students under supervision of teachers and learning coaches. The position is part-time, mornings only, about 16.25 hours per week during the school year.

The successful candidate will work with students with a wide range of needs (autism, trauma, Down syndrome, ADHD) and collaborate with SLP, OT and Behavioral Consultants.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with students with diverse needs under supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with teachers, parents and community.
• Experience or willingness to collaborate with SLP, OT, and Behavioral Consultants.

• Provide flexible support to students based on changing needs.
