Job summary

The Good Spirit School Division invites applications for a Temporary Part Time Educational Assistant at Kamsack Comprehensive Institute. EAs support student learning in classrooms and other settings, collaborating with teachers to meet diverse learning needs while upholding confidentiality.

This assignment runs Sept 11, 2026 to June 29, 2027; 5.75 hours/day, pay from $21.00 to $25.79 per hour plus vacation pay; CUPE 4784 benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
• Acute attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility and the ability to work as a team member will be considered assets.
• Knowledge of and experience with Indigenous ways of knowing, living, and being is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with students to meet their diverse learning goals.
• Provide assistance to students with mobility needs and/or who require personal care.
• Assist the classroom teacher to support learning with all students in the classroom.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all information pertaining to a child, classroom and the school.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or designate and those listed in Job Description.
