Job summary

Karis Disability Services is hiring a Part Time Direct Support Professional for the Saskatoon Group Living location. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living and supporting individuals to achieve full citizenship in the community.

Shift is 15 hours per week, Tuesday, Thursday and Wednesday from 7 AM to 12 PM, on-site in Saskatoon, SK. A valid Saskatchewan Class 5 or Novice 2 driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• A valid Saskatchewan Class 5 or Novice 2 driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
• 3–6 months experience (volunteer or employment).
• Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or related post-secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and promote full citizenship.
• Collaborate with families, advocates and community partners.
• Support service users who may smoke or vape as part of activities.

Description

This is a Part time posting for the community of Saskatoon at the Group Living location.
15 hours per week, working Tuesday, Thursday and Wednesday - 7AM to 12 PM
A valid Sask. Full Class 5 or Sask. Novice 2 driver's license is required. This location supports service users who smoke and/or vape.

Requirements:
