Job summary

Karis Disability Services in Saskatoon, SK is hiring a Casual Direct Support Professional for group living. You will support individuals with daily activities, promote independence, and collaborate with families and community partners to foster inclusive, respectful care.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 months of related experience, a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 or Novice 2 driver's license, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 or Novice 2 driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Satisfactory Driver's Abstract.
• Preferred: 3–6 months experience (volunteer or employment).
• Preferred: Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or related post-secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support Professionals help build communities and assist with activities of daily living, collaborating with families and community partners to promote citizenship and relationships.
• Provide support to individuals in group living settings and promote independence while ensuring safety and well-being.
