Job summary

Karis Disability Services seeks a Part Time Direct Support Professional for the Saskatoon Group Living location. You will support individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting with activities of daily living and fostering community participation.

This 15-hour weekly role runs Tue, Wed and Thu from 7 AM to 12 PM on-site. A valid Saskatchewan Class 5 or Novice 2 driver's license and reliable transportation are required; training, benefits, and career development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Saskatchewan Class 5 or Novice 2 driver\'s license.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and promote self-determination in individuals served.
• Collaborate with families, advocates, and community partners to support citizenship and relationships.
• May involve driving/travel within local community with people supported as passengers.

Description

This is a Part time posting for the community of Saskatoon at the Group Living location.
15 hours per week, working Tuesday, Thursday and Wednesday - 7AM to 12 PM
A valid Sask. Full Class 5 or Sask. Novice 2 driver's license is required. This location supports service users who smoke and/or vape.

Requirements:
