Job summary

Karis Disability Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with developmental disabilities in the Prince Albert area. You will assist with daily living activities and work with families, advocates, and community partners to promote citizenship and foster relationships.

Qualifications

• Valid Sask. Full Class 5 or Sask. Novice 2 driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.

• Encourage self-determination and personal growth for people served.
• May involve driving/travel within the local community with people supported as passengers.

Requirements:

• A valid Sask. Full Class 5 or Sask. Novice 2 driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Satisfactory Driver’s Abstract

Preferred:

• 3-6 Months Experience (volunteer or employment)
• Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or post-secondary education in a related field

Working Conditions:

• This location supports service users who smoke and/or vape
• May involve driving/travel within the local community with people supported as passengers
