• Previous dietary experience preferred in LTC homes (0-1 year).
• Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

This position is for our Limestone Ridge Home, located in Kingston, Ontario. Available opportunities include Part-Time/Days/Evenings/Weekends.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Serving food to residents according to individual diets and preferences, maintaining proper serving temperatures.
• Assisting cooks with preparing simple foods such as salads, vegetables, fruits, breakfast items, basic desserts, and garnishes.
• Clearing plates and trays, loading and operating dishwashers, cleaning pots, pans, and utensils as per procedure.
• Participating in proper storage and labeling of dietary supplies and food, including leftovers.
• Adhering to departmental policies regarding quality assurance, fire safety, infection control, and environment.
• Assembling nourishment carts and stocking unit kitchenettes.
• Participating in facility meetings and in-service education programs.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What You Bring
