Shoppers Drug Mart in Ottawa is seeking an on-site Pharmacy Operations role to manage the dispensary, provide counselling to customers and health professionals, and dispense medications in full scope.

The role emphasizes privacy, regulatory compliance, and maintaining records, with inventory oversight and collaboration across the care team to deliver excellent patient care at a locally owned store within a national network.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on prescriptions and OTC products.
• Ensure privacy and confidentiality in handling records.
• Dispense medications accurately following regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with other health care professionals to provide patient care.
• Maintain documentation and records per legislation and policy.
• Oversee inventory and workflow in the dispensary.
• Handle incident reports for any medication or privacy issues.
